BELOVED: St. Francis Hoboken Prepares to Celebrate the Lives of Father Mike Guglielmelli, Dolores Guglielmelli and Antoinette Gallina — Lost in a Tragic Car Accident

St. Francis Hoboken is known as “The Little Church With The Big Heart.”

That heart was broken last week, with the tragic loss of Antoinette “Shirley” Gallina (85), Dolores Guglielmelli (87) and Fr. Michael Guglielmelli (81)—all three siblings having passed as the result of a tragic car accident in Freehold on June 4.

Shirley’s daughter Helen Gallina-DeLuca (54) remains hospitalized.

The family grew up in Hoboken, around the corner from St. Francis—where Father Mike served as Pastor for decades.

Now, the local parish, the Archdiocese of Newark and greater Hoboken community past and present will gather to mourn their loss while celebrating their lives and the immeasurable impact they’ve had on thousands of people who have called this place home.
