HobokenArts Announces New Works 2018 Exhibit at Garden Level Gallery
HobokenArts™ Online Gallery is proud to announce its first fine art exhibition of the year—New Works 2018—to be held from March 2 – April 8, 2018 at the Garden Level Gallery (formerly _gaia), at the lower level of 315 3rd Street in Jersey City, New Jersey. The opening reception will be in conjunction with Art House Productions JC Fridays, a free arts festival across Jersey City, NJ, on Friday, March 2, 7 – 9pm. Residents/collectors/art enthusiasts are encouraged to stop by to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments while viewing the latest works added to HobokenArts.com.
According to curator, Christopher G. Coleman, “Hoboken, Jersey City, and the greater northeastern New Jersey area is a vibrant arts hub integral to the New York City art scene.” He continued, “I am excited to partner with Garden Level Gallery to showcase some of these talented artists and their work.”
The New Works 2018 exhibit showcases artwork that was recently added to the HobokenArts online gallery. The artists include local talent from Hudson County, NJ. Artistic styles and mediums run the gamut and include oil, acrylic, watercolor paintings, as well as pen and ink drawings. Many of the artists use a variety of these mediums together. Additionally, there will be thermographic embossings, photography, handmade jewelry, and digitally created works of art.
Artists include Jay Boucher, Santiago Cohen, Cheryl Gross, Janina Williams, Paul Leibow, Sebastian McLaughlin, Gloria Pacis, Hal Sadler, Alex Sobolta, Ed Tadiello, Tiffany Patrice, Bryant Small, Theda Sandiford, Britt Ford, Joe Epstein, Hazel Smith, Bob Leibow, and Elizabeth Tokoly.
