Main Street Pops Launches First Pop-Up With a Holiday Photo Immersive Experience

Looking for a unique photo inspiration for your Season’s Greetings this year?

How about a sleigh ride in a snowy forest? A family portrait by a roaring fireplace? A peppermint ball pit?

You don’t have to travel far to create fun and festive photos for your holiday cards or social media posts this year , as you’ve got eight immersive scenes to play, pose in and take your own photos right here in Hoboken.

Main Street Pops, a pop-up programming company based in Hoboken that utilizes open spaces to create unique and interactive community events, is launching their first installment from November 29-December 22 at The Hoboken Business Center in Suite 119 at 50 Harrison Street. They’ve decked all the halls and created eight playful and immersive holiday settings designed to
provoke creativity, connection and imagination.

Hoboken Custom Craft, a full service wood shop, built many of the set pieces like the life-size candy canes, cartoon-like sleigh and Ugly Sweater Poseline, and are showcasing a custom-made $30,000 bed carved from sequoia wood in the “Holiday Dreams” scene. (It’s for sale if you’ve had a very good year!)

The photo experience is perfect for selfies, although they will have “helper elves” on hand to take a family or group photo. In addition, they’re offering professional photo sessions with local photographers that can be booked separately for an additional charge. Contact info@mainstreetpops.com to arrange.

Adults are $10.00, kids under 16 are $5.00 and families up to six are $25.00. They’ve also arranged a “Fundraiser in a Box” with the PTOs of many local schools, where $5.00 of the family fee will go back to participating schools with their designated code. Schools that are signed up are Brandt, Connors, Wallace, Hoboken Charter School, Hoboken Middle School.
