At 8:44 a.m. last Friday, Officer Jonathan Lyons and Officer Frank Francolino were dispatched to a parking lot in the area of 300 Harrison Street to investigate a reported act of vandalism on an automobile. They met up with the victim and she reported scratch marks all around her vehicle and two flat front tires.
At 9:20 AM, Officer Lyons and Officer Francolino were dispatched a second time to the same location for the same type of report. The female victim also had scratches around her vehicle and one flat tire. While on scene, three more victims approached the officers to report their vehicles were also vandalized. A sixth victim approached the officers and reported her ground floor apartment door was also vandalized.
Officers were then directed by a Hoboken Housing Authority employee to a second parking lot in the area of 300 Marshall Drive. Officers discovered three more vehicles vandalized. Sergeant David Olivera arrived on scene and assisted with the investigation. Through their investigation, they identified Lizaida Camis as the alleged perpetrator of the vandalism. Lizaida Camis is known to local authorities, having plead guilty in 2018 to conspiracy to use mail to promote a voter bribery scheme during the 2013 municipal election in Hoboken.

As for Camis, she remains innocent of these latest charges until proven guilty in a court of law.
