Alpine Learning Group to Hold Autism Education Fundraiser at The W Hotel Hoboken
Alpine Learning Group’s special event—The Fall Affair with a Carnival Flair on Friday, October 23—will transform The W Hotel in Hoboken into a Rio-inspired carnival with live performances from stilt walkers, contortionists and more!
As part of their fundraising efforts for this event, Alpine Learning Group will be holding a silent auction. Proceeds from the event create a brighter future for the children and adults of Alpine Learning Group.
Founded in 1988, Alpine Learning Group is a not-for-profit program for children and adults with autism which provides services and support for learners and their families. In addition to education programs, Alpine also provides family consultation and training services; community-based instruction through the Supported Volunteer Program and an Adult Program which provides practical education for adult learners to obtain paid and volunteer jobs.
With 1 in 45 children in New Jersey now diagnosed with autism, the services provided at Alpine are in greater demand. Donations to this event will help them to continue to provide these important programs to learners and fund needed adult services through their new Ely Center for Adult Learning—scheduled for completion in December of this year. Raffle or silent auction donors will be recognized in the silent auction program. Over 250 guests are expected to attend this event.
