Once again, St. Francis Hoboken will hold their annual “A Wing & A Prayer” Contest to benefit the Fr. Michael Food Pantry.
The food pantry—named in honor of former pastor Fr. Michael Guglielmelli—provides meals for 60+ guests each day, while supplying groceries to over 75 families in need.
As part of the festivities this year, wings will be generously donated by some of our area’s best venues—including:
- Ainsworth Hoboken
- Bin 14
- Carpe Diem
- City Bistro
- Dark Side of the Moo
- The Farside Tavern
- The Green Rock
- House of ‘Que
- Hudson Tavern
- Madison Bar & Grill
- Northern Soul
- Tony Boloney’s
Attendees will be tasked with voting on the “Best Wings In Hoboken,” taking aim at last year’s winner, Carpe Diem…
But the biggest winners are the flocks of foodie faithful who enjoy an evening of wings, open bar and live music—while raising funds and awareness for a vital community resource.
“A Wing And A Prayer” will take place at the Elk’s Club (1005 Washington Street) on Saturday, February 22 from 6:00-9:00 pm.
THIS EVENT TYPICALLY SELLS OUT… and why wouldn’t it? It’s awesome.
Tickets include live music from CC Roots, plus beer and wine generously donated by local businesses (including Peerless Beverage) and individuals.
