Not sure about you guys, but despite all the ups and downs, ebbs and flows, gutters and strikes—looking back on it all, we had a pretty good 2015.
Here at hMAG, we started off the year with the mission of serving Hoboken in an expanded role—beyond our bimonthly print publication—via increased community involvement in news, events and issues impacting life here in our city on a daily basis.
We’re grateful to all of you who have read/shared/commented upon our efforts in the past year, helping us to shape our content and define our voice.
hMAG, which now encompasses the rejuvenated hMAG.com, is a publication for Hoboken that’s written by Hoboken residents. We’re not some massive Metro Area media conglomerate that occasionally glances over to notice Hoboken. We’re not some online news algorithm that churns out SEO/keyword clickbait content. We’re just a handful of people with our ear to the ground, trying to cover Hoboken as best we can.
That said, the feedback we receive from our readers is essential to maintaining a hyperlocal media presence that hits its mark.
We’re doing ok, but we know we can do better. Please continue to keep us in the loop and let us know what we can do for you.
Thanks for reading, and thanks for being Hoboken.
Happy New Year!
