The Hoboken Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Zoom meeting to discuss the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA), a Special Improvement District created by the Hoboken City Council to improve the area and stimulate business in Hoboken.
The HBA is calling for collective support to ignite what they’re dubbing a #HereforHoboken movement—encouraging residents and businesses to take action and support the people and businesses that make the Mile Square City so unique.
“These are challenging times but we are here to ensure that we can come together to create a safe, accessible and prosperous business district that attracts residents and visitors to shop, eat, play and stay in Hoboken as soon as we are all physically able,” says a statement on their website. “For now, we will all do what we can to be #HereforHoboken and encourage you to join our movement and show your support.”

HBA’s Board Of Directors is comprised of established Hoboken property and business owners—including the owners and landlords of Amanda’s and Elysian, Hoboken Business Center, Little City Books, La Isla and Sparrow Wine and Liquor, and Swift Interiors as well as representatives from local developers like Maridian Properties, SJP Properties, Pegasus Partners and Bijou Properties.
The roundtable discussion will take place on Wednesday, April 22 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
Featured speakers will be SID representatives—Stuart Koperweis, Eugene Flinn and Gregory Dell’Aquila.
Wednesday’s event is FREE, but pre-registration is required. CLICK HERE for registration information.
