JERSEY FRESH: Halifax and Harvest Drop Present 4-Course Farm-to-Table Dinner | TONIGHT
Kick off the summer harvest by joining Halifax restaurant and Harvest Drop, which connects Garden State chefs with area farms, as they partner to host a four-course farm-to-table dinner with wine pairings featuring local produce, cheese and more including from dairy farm Sugar Maple Jerseys in Stockton and Rolling Hills in Lambertville. Representatives from Harvest Drop and both farms will be on site to discuss their practices, produce and impact on local communities.
The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a sparkling wine reception, followed by the sit-down dinner. Courses by Halifax Executive Chef Seadon Shouse, known for his Northeastern farm and coastal cuisine, will include a salad with produce at its peak, vegetable gazpacho, large format family-style entrees. Dinner will end with seasonal sweets by Pastry Chef Stuart Marx.
