‘M’ IS FOR MUTZ: Hoboken Deli Featured On Sesame Street

HOBOKEN, NJ, – Even Cookie Monster knows… if you need Mutz, you head to Hoboken.

On the recent Episode 5119 of Sesame Street (PBS), resident foodies Cookie Monster and Gonger needed to get some mozzarella cheese for a Caprese Salad order at Cookie Monster’s Foodie Truck.

Of course Cookie Monster already ate all the in-house mutz, as you do, so he and Gonger took a quick run to Hoboken… as you do!

For their visit to the Mile Square City, famous for its mozzarella, the fuzzy foodies hopped in the truck and headed on over to Fiore’s House of Quality (414 Adams Street), where they got a detailed lesson on intricacies of mutz-making. After Fiore’s worked their magic, Cookie Monster and Gonger headed on back to Sesame Street, with what looked like a 2-pound braid of fresh mozzarella.

We have no idea how they found parking, or how much mutz made it home…

“UMM-NUM-NUM-NUM-NUM,” said Cookie Monster.

Sesame Street airs weekdays at 10:30 a.m. on NJ PBS.
