MARK IT: Garden Street Farmers’ Market Kicks Off THIS SATURDAY — MAY 6th

The Garden Street Farmers’ Market will open for the 2017 summer season on Saturday, May 6th at Garden Street Mews on 14th and Garden Streets in this Hudson County City.

The yearly outdoor market – which features a number of locally grown and organic products, music and family-oriented activities – will take place every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through December 16th at the pedestrian plaza created by Bijou Properties.

The 2017 Garden Street Farmers’ Market will be a one-stop destination for food, fun and excitement for families with children of all ages. In addition to offering fresh locally grown and organic fruits and vegetables, herbs, eggs, chicken, meats, French bakery, cheese, prepared foods, pressed juices, olives, pickles, hummus/spreads, pasta, fresh cut flowers, fresh squeezed lemonade, gluten-free/grainless baked goods and crepes prepared onsite. There will also be music, activities, street games, gardening activities arts and crafts for children. New this season for book lovers is the Little Free Library, take a book – share a book. Find the Little Free Library stand near the music tent.

Participating vendors in the 2017 market will include Stony Hill Farms, Poplar Wood Farm, Hoboken Farms, Cotton Cattle Co, Pickle Licious, Choc-o-pain, Squirrel And The Bee, Paolo’s, Lizzmonade, The Pop Peddler, Schnackenberg’s, Anita’s Guacamole, JC Fish Stand, Two Crepes, Oh Honey, Connie’s Creations, Veg Bar, Baonanas, Salt + Seed, and guest vendors during the season.

Hudson Table joins the Garden Street Farmers Market this season with Live Chef Demonstrations, bi-weekly starting opening day May 6th!  At the Hudson Table tent, one of Hudson Table’s professional chefs will shop the market and prepare an easy seasonal dish with local produce.  Enjoy the show, chat with the chefs about their culinary preparations, and learn about Hudson Table’s cooking classes, private events, kid’s camps, and catering.

Situated on a pedestrian-only area of Garden Street between 14th and 15th Streets in Hoboken, the Garden Street Farmers’ Market is ideally located near public transportation, including the NY Waterway Ferry and NJ Transit Buses. Its prime uptown location also provides easy access to fantastic public family amenities such as the Hoboken Cove Parks and Waterfront Walkway, 15th Street Soccer Fields and a number of playgrounds.
