MISCHLING Author Affinity Konar to Speak at Hoboken Public Library — MONDAY
The Hoboken Public Library and Little City Books present an exciting book event TONIGHT (Monday, September 19) at 6 pm at the Library (500 Park Ave, Hoboken, NJ) with Affinity Konar, the author of Mischling — “a luminous tale of hope in the shadow of the Holocaust,” says Vanity Fair.
Konar will read from her book about twin girls at Auschwitz, and how one twin navigates the devastation following the war.
Publishers Weekly states, “Konar makes every sentence count; it’s to her credit that the girls never come across as simply victims: they’re flawed, memorable characters trying to stay alive.”
Following the reading, she will then be interviewed by author and WSJ reporter, Lucette Lagnado.
This event is free and is a shared program of the Hoboken Public Library and Little City Books.
