MOVING ON: Hoboken Hothouse Changing Hands as Proprietor Karen Nason Eyes New Project

During her mayoral run, Hoboken businesswoman Karen Nason told hMAG that she, “would like to work with the future Council members to bring more arts, theater and culture to the Hoboken residents.”

Now she’s putting her money where her mouth is—literally—after selling her popular Hoboken Hothouse café/venue to help finance an initiative that would work towards restoring the Church of the Holy Innocents into a world class arts and music venue.

To that end, Nason will be hosting a party on Monday, June 18 at Hoboken Hothouse, closing the door on that venture and kicking off her new effort. The event Monday night is free, and attendees are asked to make a donation on behalf of the Church of Holy Innocents.
