The Hoboken Historical Museum is wrapping up its exhibition, “Frank Sinatra: The Man, the Voice, & the Fans,” with a fitting celebration of the Hoboken native’s music: A “Swingin’ Sing-Along Wrap Party,” on Friday, Dec. 30, from 6 – 9 pm. Sinatra Idol Contest winner Eric DeLauro will lead the sing-along, sponsored by The UPS Store, Hoboken Uptown, 4 14th Street. Refreshments will be served. The event is free, but donations are welcome.

The last five days for visitors to enjoy the exhibition are Dec. 26 – 30, from 2 – 7 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday, and 1 – 5 p.m. on Friday. The exhibition has broken all previous records for attendance at the Museum, attracting fans from all over the globe. Visitors have been encouraged to share their favorite Sinatra memories in journals incorporated into the displays. These memories are being transcribed and will be published in the Museum’s digital archives.

The exhibition, Frank Sinatra: The Man, the Voice and the Fans, features interactive displays and videos, cherished fan photographs and other unique artifacts to illustrate the singer/actor’s formative years in Hoboken, his storied career in music and film, and memories from long-time fans. Visitors can enjoy his talents in a media lounge featuring vinyl albums and digital documentary films.

Visitors also can snap selfies in front of the new bronze star plaque honoring Sinatra’s centennial, installed in the walkway by the Museum’s entrance at 13th and Hudson Sts., or pick up a copy of the Museum’s “Sinatra Walking Tour Map,” for fans who wish to walk in his footsteps.
