At the crossroads of rock, blues and country sits Rock & Roll Hall of Fame singer/songwriter Leon Russell. On Sunday, May 1st, that crossroads will be on Washington Street & Observer Highway, for the Spring Hoboken Arts & Music Festival.
Russell’s collaborations with Elton John, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, J.J. Cale and scores more are the stuff of rock legend. He takes the main stage along the west bank of the Hudson River Delta at the Hoboken Arts & Music Festival, while a variety of other performances make for a great day-long event, including:
-The Amazing Incredibles
-Tony Corrao – Sings Sinatra
-Emily & the Ideals
-Sylvana Joyce and the Moment
-Carol Lester of ABC Sing With Me!
-Michael & the Rockness Monsters
-The Bubble Queen & The Royal Bubble Pops
-Stevens Jazz Quartet
-Garden Street School of Performing Arts
-Hoboken Hip Hop from All Saints Episcopal Day School
Arts, crafts, music, food vendors, small businesses and local community organizations line Hoboken’s main thoroughfare from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. for this, the 22nd annual Spring Hoboken Arts & Music Festival.
See you Sunday, rain or shine…
