TRUE Mentors Hosts 6th Anniversary Party — Saturday, January 28th from 4-7 p.m. at the Hoboken Boys & Girls Club

TRUE Mentors is hosting its six-year anniversary party at the Hoboken Boys & Girls Club (123 Jefferson St.) on January 28th between 4-7PM.

The event is open to all members of the existing TRUE Mentors family, including mentors, mentees, teen interns and enrichment club volunteers – as well as anyone interested in volunteering with the program in and around Hoboken.

“We are proud and excited to get together and celebrate our sixth year of changing kids’ lives in Hoboken,” says TRUE Mentors Executive Director, Katie Eades. “We are always looking for new volunteers who are interested in mentoring, or giving back to the community in some way.”

TRUE Mentors is Hoboken’s only one-to-one mentoring program matching children ages 7 – 17
with adult mentors in the same community. TRUE Mentors’ mission is to unearth the potential of both children and mentors through relationships. Our mentors become trusted friends and
champions to our children.

In addition to mentoring, TRUE Mentors offers weekly classes during the school year and a teen internship program to unearth potential in group and workplace settings.
