Hoboken Youth Rugby Kicks Off SUNDAY

As the Six Nations Tournament draws to a close this weekend, rugby is looking to make a big impact right here in Hoboken (beyond the walls of Mulligan’s…).

Play Rugby USA, in conjunction with Hoboken Rugby and Bayonne Rugby, are offering free ‘Try Flag Rugby*’ sessions for the next two Sundays at Hoboken High School’s JFK Football Stadium (entrance on 10th & Jefferson). After the trial sessions, the program will launch into a proper season, scheduled to begin in April.

Boys & Girls ages 6-14 are welcome to attend.

*Flag rugby is the same premise as flag football—minimal contact, skills oriented.
