Little Town Social Hoboken Opens on First Street

With a packed house Thursday night, Little Town Social is the latest venue to officially open its doors to friends and neighbors on bustling First Street, following a remarkably quick transformation from the previous venue.

“We had a lot of dedicated people working really hard to get this place open,” says owner Sean McGarr, who has joined with forces with Michael Sinensky and Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Chris & Albie Manzo on this project.

“We are looking forward to expanding the Little Town brand with the opening of Little Town Social,” said Albie Manzo. “The new eatery will bring an elevated experience to Hoboken offering residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy locally sourced fare with a menu designed around sharing with friends and family,” Chris added.

Executive Chef Sarah Sproule brings a passion for sustainability and community to Little Town Social with her creative menu options like Oyster Shooters Trio (bloody & celery salt; pineapple, jalapeno & Thai chili salt; cucumber, pickled rhubarb & virgin salt), Little Town Burger made with New Jersey’s Central Valley Farms pasture raised beef (fried onion, Jersey cheddar, bacon, roasted tomato, bravas sauce on a brioche bun), Kimchee Buns (steamed pork, kimchee brisket, kewpie mayo), Mac & Cheese Crab Claws (with Jonah stone crab) and the daily Chef Sandwich special featuring farmers market and rooftop garden ingredients with artisan bread.

At the bar, the focus is on classic cocktails (Martini, Old Fashioned, Sidecar) plus a few innovations like the Ellen Arthur Cosmo (Absolut, Cointreau, Passion Fruit and Lime Juice) and The Mineshaft (Jameson, Aperol, Grand Marnier, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters).

Little Town Social is located at 205 1st Street, between Garden & Park.
