Another Punch Thrown in Dockyard Brawl, as NY Waterway Sues Hoboken Over Stop Work Order at Union Dry Dock
NY Waterway announced Friday that it’s suing the City of Hoboken over their imposition of a stop work order on the Union Dry Dock property back in February.
“We have the necessary state and federal permits and the site has the proper zoning,” said NY Waterway President Arthur E. Imperatore in a statement. The company purchased the property in 2017.
According to NJ.com, Hoboken spokesperson Vijay Chaudhuri said Friday that “Mayor Bhalla and the city will use any and all legally appropriate means to ensure compliance with our regulations, to protect the health and safety of residents, and to defend the city against meritless litigation.”
