The Ballad of Janis Matthews and the Dodo Scouts—THIS WEEKEND @ Mile Square Theatre
MST Education presents The Ballad of Janis Matthews and the Dodo Scouts, performed by their Teen Company to a live band, at its new theater on the corner of 14th and Clinton Streets in Hoboken.
This new musical, with a folk inspired score, is set in 1968, where a young girl named Janis Matthews, whose parents recently divorced, finds her life uprooted when she and her mother move to Denver, Colorado. Janis finds herself stuck with one thing left to her name–her identity as a Dodo Scout. When she gets her Scout Troop lost in the woods, her ability to connect and lead other people is pushed to its limits.
