Blogger Tim Urban to Discuss “Mars, Superintelligent AI, and Other Not Normal Things About the Future” — TUESDAY @ STEVENS

On Tuesday, November 15, popular millennial blogger Tim Urban of Wait But Why will share his views on why we procrastinate, why artificial intelligence is scary and why we have not seen signs of aliens on earth (yet).

Urban’s most recent blog, It’s Going to Be Okay, explores the emotional state of Americans after this Tuesday’s presidential election and offers his views on moving forward whether we agree or disagree with the results.

Wait But Why, which has topped 10 million unique visitors during peak months, fans include: Tesla CEO Elon Musk, TED Curator Chris Anderson and Twitter Co-Founder Evan Williams. Urban also spoke at the 2016 TED Conference in Vancouver. So far, his TED talk has been viewed more than 8 million times.

The event will be on held at DeBaun Auditorium on Stevens campus (24 5th Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030). The talk will begin at 6:15 pm.
