Body Recovered in Hudson River Off Hoboken Terminal

A body has been recovered in the Hudson River off the Hoboken Terminal, according to NJ Transit Police.
An individual reportedly entered the water at 12:45 p.m. An officer attempted to reach the individual by jumping into the river himself. However, the person did not survive. The officer has been sent to Jersey City Medical Center for observation.
Hoboken Police and Hoboken Fire Departments were on hand to assist with the recovery.
