Headlines we never thought we’d write: “Easter Bunny Brawl at Newport Mall”

A pair of videos posted to twitter by @kevinp461 reportedly show a brawl breaking out at the Newport Mall in Jersey City, involving the Easter Bunny.

Details on the incident are not currently clear (SEE BELOW FOR UPDATE), so we’ll go straight to the tape…

****UPDATE****

NJ.com is reporting that the incident was sparked by a father who began to “verbally and physically attack” the Easter Bunny when his 1-year-old daughter fell out of a chair after getting her photo taken.

The father was subsequently charged with aggravated assault. Meanwhile, the man in Easter Bunny costume (SPOLIER ALERT: This was not the REAL Easter Bunny… sorry kids!) was also charged with aggravated assault—and he had an outstanding warrant for… wait for it… fare HOPPING.

Of course this is not the first Easter Bunny Mall Brawl to go down here in New Jersey…
