Former Deputy Chief Bill Bergin of the Hoboken Fire Department Has Passed Away

The Hoboken Fire Department has announced the passing of former Deputy Chief Bill Bergin.
Sadly, we announce the passing of retired Deputy Chief William Bergin. Bergin also proudly served as Veteran, President of PFANJ Local 1076, Public Safety Director of Hoboken, and Curator of the Hoboken Fire Museum. Thank you for your service. We will miss you, Chief. pic.twitter.com/oGdsStnv7L

Bergin also served the City of Hoboken as a Public Safety Director, and went on to help establish the Hoboken Fire Museum.
According to Failla-McKnight Funeral Home, a memorial mass will be held for Bergin on Tuesday, January 7 at St. Francis Church (308 Jefferson), beginning at 11:00 a.m.
