MISSING MONEY?: Woman Finds Envelope Full Of Cash in Hoboken Just Before Christmas Eve, Turns It In To Police

Like something out of It’s A Wonderful Life

Last Monday, someone in Hoboken had an Uncle Billy Bailey moment, when they apparently dropped an envelope full of cash on the corner of Observer Highway and Monroe Streets. A woman who works nearby found the cash—but unlike that rotten Ol’ Man Potter, she did everything in her power to return it to the rightful owner.

“I went to the bank where they told me they where unable to do anything about it,” she tells hMAG, “and then took it to the Hoboken Police. Hopefully it gets back to the rightful owner.”

Anyone missing a significant amount of cash in a TD Bank envelope should contact the Hoboken Police Department. (Local politicians??? Ha, we kid… kinda.)

As for the phenomenal person who has restored our faith in humanity by doing this spectacular good deed in returning the money to authorities two days before Christmas, we wish her a truly Wonderful Life…
