Fridays Are For Frank: “The Best Is Yet To Come”

It’s been a yearlong build up to the celebrations of Frank Sinatra’s 100th Birthday.

Still, it’s a real good bet, the best is yet to come…

Here in Hoboken, we’ve been telling you about the exhibit at the Hoboken Historical Museum—”Frank Sinatra: the Man, the Voice and the Fans.” Also, the Hoboken Public Library has a number of Sinatra photos on display, detailing his time here in Hoboken.

Guests include James Kaplan, Will Friedwald and Pete Hamill—moderated by Bob Santelli, Executive Director of the Grammy Museum.

Little City Books is located at 100 Bloomfield Street—across the street from “Marty O’Brien’s” bar.

 

12105712_1119556234723427_4108015394079249568_nThen on the big day—Saturday, December 12—from 7 to 11 pm, the Hoboken Historical Museum will hold its Sinatra Centennial Birthday Party at the Bissinger Room in Stevens Institute of Technology’s Howe Center, overlooking the Manhattan Skyline. Music by Swingadelic, with tribute singers Zack Alexander, Tony Corrao, Greg Myers, Dave Arellano, Peter Cafasso, and John Bauers.
