The 24-minute games will have 7 players on the field (including the goalkeeper), while final games will be 20 minutes total with a 10-minute half time—creating an elevated atmosphere of frenetic action, showcasing some of the best young soccer talent on the planet.

“LaLiga Promises is one of the most important projects we do in LaLiga—with Jose Ramon de la Morena Foundation—to promote the grow of soccer,” said Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga. “This tournament in NJ is part of our commitment to grow soccer internationally, especially in the United States. LaLiga North America -joint venture between LaLiga and Relevent- is proactively working in the soccer growth and the grassroots development as part of our strategy in North America.”

Hoboken hosted the LaLiga Promises tournament last year and looks forward to doing so again for 2019.

“Hoboken is proud to once again host the LaLiga Promises tournament. There is no better place to host all of our international participants than on our beautiful waterfront,” says Mayor Ravinder S. Bhalla. “We’re pleased to help facilitate the growth of soccer here in Hoboken and across the country, and thank the Jose Ramon de la Morena Foundation and LaLiga for showcasing its talented players in our City.”

Games will begin at 9 AM ET on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, finishing with the final match on Sunday at 1 PM ET. All tournament games played on Field 1 will be broadcast live by Univision.

All fans will be admitted free of charge and are encouraged to support their favorite teams.
