Hoboken Porch Pirate Pinched After Pair of Package Thefts

‘Tis the season…

Hoboken Police Officers were able to recognize a known package thief and apprehend him after being contacted about a pair of pilfered packages on 2nd & Adams.

On December 15, P.O. Shelby Seickendick responded to a complaint of stolen packages on December 10 & 12. Sgt. Nicholas Burke was able to identify the suspect and two Burglary & Theft warrants were generated for the defendant, John Montalvo, Age 56 from Hoboken, NJ.

On December 16, 2019, at about 2:49PM, Det. Paul Quinn and P.O. Connor Milne spotted the defendant in the area of 1st and Park Avenue and Montalvo was placed under arrest. Montalvo was processed at headquarters and transported to the Hudson County Jail.
