Hoboken Public Library Book Festival — Saturday @ Church Square Park
The Hoboken Public Library is hosting a Book Festival in Church Square Park (across the street from the Library) this Saturday June 13th from 11-5.
The festival will feature theater performances, caricature drawing lessons, poetry readings, book sales, face painting, and of course—a bouncy castle.
For Children
11 AM: Company’s Coming presents “The Wizard of Oz”, an interactive theater and puppet show for kids.
12:30-2 PM: Face Painting
2:30-4 PM: Craft Tent
2:30-4 PM: Superhero Visit
For Teens
2:30 PM: Teens in grades 5 and up can learn how to draw yourself, a friend, or your favorite character!
For Everyone
11 AM-5 PM: The Technology Tent will have a display of the library’s 3D printers and a variety of kits
11 AM-5 PM: New and Used Book Sales
12:30 PM: Commemoration of the library’s 125th year with special readings. Cookies and lemonade will be served
Local Food Vendors will sell a variety of tasty treats!
The Hoboken Division of Cultural Affairs will be sponsoring Sinatra style singers in Church Square Park for their Sounds of Sinatra Weekend, in celebration of Sinatra’s Centennial.
