Initially reported around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, the ruptured line created a significant amount of ponding water on the road near the northern access point to Hoboken, near Trader Joe’s. Sub-freezing temperatures soon turned that water into an icy safety hazard for pedestrians in the area, while the road remains under repair.
