HOLIDAY HOBOKEN FLOODING: Last-Minute Shoppers Get Sewage in Their Stocking
No white Christmas, but Hoboken flooding arrived just in time for the holidays, as sewage back-ups wreaked/reeked havoc on cars parked at 9th & Madison Streets, near Hoboken’s Shop Rite.
A quick-hitting deluge did its usual thing in this part of town, as the area was ONCE AGAIN overwhelmed by rainfall. This comes amid the City’s heated “Rebuild By Design” discussions, trying to determine the best way to deal with Hoboken’s ongoing flooding woes.
