HOMETOWN LOVE: Hoboken Grace Hosts 600+ Volunteers for 8th Annual 1Day Event
Over 600 volunteers swept up and out across the city of Hoboken last Saturday to join the biggest community service opportunity of the year—the 8th annual 1Day, hosted by Hoboken Grace.
1Day welcomes and celebrates volunteers of all ages and interests who want to make an impact
and show a little love to their city by lending a hand. The effort to complete over 30 projects in a

This year, 639 volunteers participated in 1Day and completed 32 projects, serving the following
organizations:
- Hoboken Shelter

“People want to do something significant with their lives,” said Hoboken Grace Pastor Chris High. “Sometimes, however, we lose sight of that. Today is about giving people the chance to experience that in a small way, hoping that today leads to a life lived for significance, not just 1 day.”
Hoboken Grace is a contemporary, non-denominational Christian Church in Hoboken, located at 301 Garden Street. To learn more about Hoboken Grace visit hobokengrace.com.
