NJ TRANSIT STRIKE AVERTED — Agreement Reached; Soul-Crushing Commutes to Continue

A commute is best defined as an extraordinary amount of effort to get somewhere you never wanted to be in the first place.

Thanks to our good friends at NJ Transit, that commute will continue for Garden Staters—whether they like it or not.

The looming NJ Transit strike has been avoided following intense negotiations in Newark. While terms of the agreement have yet to be released, it will be the rail union’s first new contract in five years.

Good news for Hoboken, as we would have been facing significant changes in traffic flow and transit options.
