Mile Square Theatre (MST) is creating a sustainable arts institution to produce known and experimental works, also teaching variety of dance and theatre arts for all ages, while serving as an affordable community venue.
MST was founded in 2003 as a floating theatre and as a non-profit organization, for years producing free theatre in public venues and private homes in Hoboken. In 2008, MST established residency in the Monroe Center for the Arts, building on a reputation for creative excellence and fast developing into a regional hub for terrific arts and culture.
Led by founding Artistic Director Chris O’Connor, MST is in the midst of building a new performing arts center in the northwest corner of Hoboken, which will serve as a permanent artistic home, hosting a year-round season of events and arts programming.
