Redneck Rockers Blackjack Billy Roll Into Maxwell’s Wednesday Night

Redneck Rockers Blackjack Billy Roll Into Maxwell’s Wednesday Night

If you’re in Manhattan, then technically Hoboken is considered to be “The West.” On that tenuous argument, we offer up the Maxwell’s Country Music Concert Series, kicking off this Wednesday, July 1st with Nashville-based country quartet Blackjack Billy.

Generating a buzz with their breakout hit “The Booze Cruise”, Blackjack Billy—a.k.a. Noll Billings, Rob Blackledge, Jeff Coplan, and Brad Cummings—have played over 300 shows in 2013 and 2014 between festivals, clubs and fairs such as Taste Of Country Music Fest (CT), Sturgis Bike Week (SD), Toadlick (AL), Country Concert (OH) and some of the largest Canadian festivals including Cavendish, Calgary Stampede, Havelock Jamboree, and Big Valley Jamboree.

Wednesday night they bring their trademark “Redneck Rock” sound into Maxwell’s, including their new single “Why God Made Summertime”—an anthemic ode to warmer weather.

The show at Maxwell’s Wednesday night, with special guest Nikki Briar and the SweetBriar Band, plus Kyle Lechner in the front bar.

The pre-show “Tailgate Party” starts at 6:00, presented by Jersey City’s Departed Soles Brewing.
