Third Assailant Arrested In Connection With Targeted Hoboken Stabbing
Jason Rodriguez (20), of Guttenberg was arrested on Wednesday for his alleged role in a targeted Hoboken stabbing earlier this week.
At 12:20 a.m. on February 5, a violent encounter took place near 11th & Clinton Streets in Hoboken. Residents heard screams as a group of assailants attacked an individual and stabbed him ten times in what investigators describe as a targeted set-up.
On Wednesday, February 6, Detectives from the Hoboken Police Investigations Bureau and officers from the Guttenberg Police Department found Rodriguez at this residence and placed him under arrest for Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault, Endangering an Injured Victim. He was transported to the Hoboken Police Department where he was processed and later remanded to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Center.
Rodriguez joins Alexis Angulo (18) of Guttenberg—who faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Endangering an Injured Victim, Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose—and Santos Gonzalez (18) of Guttenberg—who was arrested for Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy, Endangering an Injured Victim.
