Hoboken Police Investigating Report of Armed Robbery

The Hoboken Police Department has stated that they responded to the area of 5^th & Garden Streets near Church Square Park to investigate the report of an Armed Robbery. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12.

Responding officers encountered two female victims who stated two males ordered them to turn over their “money and cell phones.” According to the victims, a handgun was brandished during the Robbery, and the two males fled west through Church Square Park with the stolen belongings.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The perpetrators have been described as:

• a skinny black male about 5’6”, wearing dark pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt along with dark sneakers with white accents
• a dark skinned Hispanic male about 5’4”, wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt with a baseball hat along with dark colored pants and white sneakers.
