hob’art Gallery Hosts Ann Kinney & Roy Wright “Limited Edition” Photo Exhibit
Ann Kinney and Roy Wright‘s photographic exhibition, “Limited Edition,” will be open to the public from May 8 through June 7 at the hob’art gallery, located in the Monroe Center of the Arts (720 Monroe Street, E208).
Both artists create evocative imagery, with an emphasis on form and color. Ann Kinney sees her work in terms of shapes and colors that are sometimes true and sometimes pushed to capture the essence of the moment the image was captured. Roy Wright is an independent photographer of architecture and interior design. Roy’s evocative images—of architectural models, interior spaces, and exterior environments—bring forth the essential qualities of the project at hand, as well as the viewer’s larger vision of the built world. Both artists have been recognized for their thought-provoking work.
A reception to meet the photographers will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 6-8pm. On Sunday, May 17, the artists will discuss their photographs and will welcome questions from visitors.
