FRANKIE & AVA’S: New Italian Eatery Opens on Washington Street

On the heels of the Sinatra centennial, Hoboken’s latest Italian deli and eatery—Frankie & Ava’s—is now open at 208 Washington Street (formerly Four L’s), offering a wide array of sandwich, panini, wrap, app, pizza and pasta options.

Longtime Hoboken resident Frank DiGiacomo calls on his family recipes and a few new twists of his own to offer a dizzying selection of choices for the hungry Hobokenite.

After trying the Maximus (pictured up top—prosciutto, sweet soppressata, fresh mozzarella, arugula, sundried tomatoes, aged balsamic), we’re really hoping things go well for Frankie & Ava’s… certainly better than Sinatra & Gardner’s marriage.

Open Monday – Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m, Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., stop by and check out the selection, and see if there are any Hoboken names you might recognize on the menu…
