Drunk Driver Crashes Into Hoboken Park

Hoboken Police and Fire units responded to a car that crashed into Church Square Park, near 4th Street and Park Avenue after 1 p.m. this afternoon.

No injuries were reported, as the car somehow managed to become wedged between the fencing and a telephone pole.

According to Hoboken Police Chief Kenneth Ferrante, the 44 year-old driver from North Bergen was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
