Hoboken Police have arrested four individuals for using and/or possessing counterfeit $100 bills.
On Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 5:39 p.m., Hoboken Police Officers Harold Milne, Bianca Arroyo, and Joseph Cahill responded to a call at Hudson Paperie (312 Washington Street) for a counterfeit $100.00 bill. Employees then saw both actors enter and leave Sephora (319 Washington Street) soon after.
HPD pulled over the silver Mercedes that the defendants got into upon leaving Sephora. Alexis Mclee (21) and Leon Samuels (25), both from Brooklyn, were arrested along with Floyd Harrison (26) of Inglewood, CA and Derrick Hamer (37) of Stone Mountain, GA.
The moral of the story is—if you ARE going to try to pass counterfeit bills, maybe don’t try it at a business that specializes in paper…
Speaking of papers, Mclee was also charged with possession of Marijuana and paraphernalia—which may explain their flawed decision making.
