Fourth of July Fashion: Easy, Breezy Summer Outfit
by Amy Berenbak
Whether you’re headed “Down the Shore,” going to a backyard BBQ or just hanging about town, this cool and breezy outfit from one of Hoboken’s go-to boutiques has unique and fun accents for Fourth of July fashion.
Peper and Parlor on 10th and Washington St. in Hoboken has such unique style—I obsess over pretty much everything in that store! For July 4th, I wanted to keep it simple and have interesting accessories. I love that you can find head-to-toe pieces and know that it’s all one-of-a-kind.
Shopping for an ideal Independence Day outfit, I found a VELVET white muscle tank in white ($56) and comfortable jean shorts from MOTHER ($148).
Meanwhile, their accessories this season are off the hook—I couldn’t get enough of what they have to offer! I started with cray-cool star earrings from TAI ($85)…how perfect! I wanted to keep just the earrings sparkly and mix it up with the necklace from K/LLER ($180)… they have a three-layer effect, which I find to be sexy. I added a funky ring from LUXD ($165) This ring is definitely a conversation starter. I found a simple, reversible clutch from CLARE V. ($250)
The SANDALS!!! I am over the moon in love with these sandals from CHIE MIHARA ($350). These are great to wear with everything this summer. To finish the look, this denim hat from TSUY ($185) is just adorable.
Embrace the holiday spirit and have fun getting dressed for it. Stop by Peper and Parlor at 938 Washington St. and have fun piecing together your own amazing ensemble!
