FRIDAYS ARE FOR FRANK: “Almost Like Being in Love”
“Almost Like Being in Love” was written in 1947 by Frederick Loewe, with lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner.
Made popular by the musical Brigadoon, Nat King Cole recorded more than one version of the song— including a later version that was used in 1993’s Groundhog Day, starring Bill Murray.
Frank Sinatra‘s version was the highest charting at #20, having recorded the song for his 1961 album Come Swing With Me.
