hMIXER: Thursday, April 21 @ Little Town Social – Benefit the 6th Annual Rock’n 4 Autism Awareness Campaign — Live Music by Tommy Strazza
April is Autism Awareness month.
Recent estimates suggest than 1 in 68 individuals in the United States are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. With over 400 treatment options available, families may struggle with identifying the most effective research-supported treatment that leads to meaningful progress for their child. The reality is that families invest thousands of dollars annually on unsupported approaches, which drain family resources and waste valuable time. Even worse, myriad so-called treatments are potentially harmful and place individuals with autism at risk.
Autism Awareness is much more than simply raising awareness about autism; just as importantly, families need to be connected with the information and resources that will pave the way for effective treatment.
Join us at Little Town Social (205 First Street, Hoboken) THURSDAY for our hMIXER event, featuring drink specials, appetizers, LIVE MUSIC from Tommy Strazza and a RAFFLE to benefit Rock’n 4 Autism Awareness.
Proceeds from this raffle will directly support several important projects, including distribution of a free quarterly newsletter (Science in Autism Treatment), promotion of public awareness of science in autism intervention through web and print resources, and expanding outreach to the medical community.
Our hosts, Little Town Social focus on locally sourced and inspired fare served in a richly designed social setting. We’ll have drink special and appetizers—a great night with great people for a great cause.
NO COVER. SEE YOU THERE!!!
