HOBOKEN FARMERS’ MARKET: Church Sq. Park | Tuesdays from 2:00-7:30, June 5th-November 20th
The 2018 farmers’ market season marks the Hoboken Farmers’ Market’s 21st year in operation.
It all began in the Summer of 1997. The location was on Newark Street, across the street from what was The Clam Broth House and Boo Boo’s Funkadelic. When the façade of the Clam Broth House came crashing down, the Farmers’ Market moved to Washington street at Newark St.
It remained there until last year when the Uptown Hoboken Farmers’ Market joined the Downtown and they both moved to Garden Street between 4th and 5th streets, directly across the street from Demarest Middle School.
The Hoboken Farmers’ Market takes place every Tuesday, from 2:00 pm until 7:30 pm, from the First Tuesday in June (June 5, 2018) until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (November 20, 2018). Vendors include Union Hill Farms, Melick’s Town Farm, Circle Brook Organic Farms, Pickle-icious, Local 130 Seafood, Gourmet Fruits and Nuts, The Bradley Bake Shop, Kimchi Culture, Hoboken Farms, and more.
Follow the Hoboken Farmers Market on Facebook and Instagram for continual updates all season long.
“If you don’t get it local, you just don’t get it,” says David Calamoneri, Co-founder of the Hoboken Farmers’ Market.
