Hoboken To Inexplicably Begin Construction On Court Street

The City of Hoboken has announced that Court Street—a.k.a “Hoboken’s Cheat Code”—will be under construction starting on Wednesday.

Sorry man, game over…

Please be aware that construction work on Court Street will begin on Wednesday, July 18 and is scheduled to conclude in mid-September. During that time, sections between 1st and 7th Streets will be closed periodically. Traffic will be diverted to Washington Street and Hudson Street during this time. Please look for signs instructing you on individual streets.

The news comes a week after the City announced the Washington Street Redesign Project will run past its August deadline and well into 2019. Washington Street runs adjacent to Court Street.
