Hoboken Lacrosse Club Youth Squad Prepares for Another Season
Coming off a wildly successful 2014 campaign, the Hoboken Lacrosse Club has opened registration for their Travel Squad this spring.
This will be the Club’s second year playing in games against other area programs.
For the boys program, the club expects to field teams in the following brackets:
– 3rd/4th grade
– 5th/6th grade
– 7th/8th grade
For the girls program, the club hopes to have squads for:
– 3rd/4th grade
– 5th/6th/7th grade
“We’re preparing for major growth in both our girls and boys programs, which totaled 45 kids last spring—our first ever,” says Sean Sargent, Hoboken Lacrosse Club’s President and co-Founder. “We have an awesome slate of coaches, all of whom have college playing experience, and we are booking games against area programs now.”
In addition to the competitive Travel program—which requires full-equipment—the Hoboken Lacrosse Club will be working with the City of Hoboken to offer a rec clinic program for students interested in learning the fundamentals of the game.
