Newell Brands Inc.—parent company of Baby Jogger, makers of City Mini strollers—will relocate its corporate headquarters from Waterfront Corporate Center III in Hoboken back to Atlanta, after moving here in 2016.

In addition to its baby products, Newell Brands is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of household names—including Rubbermaid, Paper Mate, Sharpie, Coleman, Jostens, Marmot, Graco, Calphalon, and Yankee Candle.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “A spokeswoman said fewer than 100 jobs will be returning to Georgia, with the company’s e-commerce division and about 200 workers remaining in Hoboken.”

As we reported in 2016, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority offered $27 million in tax incentives to help offset the costs associated with Newell’s Hoboken facility.

Newell says today’s announced relocation was made, “in order to facilitate a stronger connection between senior leaders and the operations of the business, and to enhance the company’s culture and sense of community.”

Bye…
