EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: High Winds from Hurricane José Topple Construction Facade in Hoboken
Surveillance cameras at the Marciano Law Firm in Hoboken captured the terrifying moment when a burst of high winds blew down the facade of a building under construction on bustling Newark Ave, between Washington and Hudson Streets.

The resulting damage left the street closed to car and pedestrian traffic during the evening rush hour.
⚠️ Newark St (Hudson-Washington) closed until further notice for emergency demolition work. HPD on hand to allow residents access to homes.

The City of Hoboken reports that the street had reopened just before 8:30 this evening. Hurricane José is producing winds, rain and coastal flooding that continue to impact the area.
As for the building, it had been damaged in a fire on February 4th of this year.
