Think of Maxwell’s as an ecosystem…
It has undergone some changes, but an effort has been made to restore the natural balance. Sure, there are a few different species calling it home, and a variety of migrating groups stop by from time to time. But now, with the return of Jersey Beat and their showcase this Thursday, it seems like the apex fauna are finally coming back to their native habitat.
One of the last local bands to play Maxwell’s before the venue underwent its dramatic evolution, The Milwaukees will make their return to the back room at 1039 Washington Street, supporting their new album, “Vasectomies.”
Joining them Thursday evening will be Eastern Anchors out of Red Bank and Bastards of Melody from fabulous West Orange, NJ. As mentioned, the evening will be hosted by Jersey Beat, and everybody’s friend, the esteemed Jim Testa.
